Author Guidelines

Great Britain Journals Press welcomes scholarly book submissions that present original research, careful analysis, or a substantial academic contribution within a clearly defined field. Authors should submit complete, well-organized manuscripts that are suitable for academic readers, libraries, and professional research communities.

Before You Submit

Authors should review the About the Press page and make sure the manuscript fits the scope of Great Britain Journals Press. Submissions should include accurate title information, author details, affiliations, abstract or summary, keywords, complete references, and any required permissions for third-party material.

Submission Process

Authors need to register with the press prior to submitting. If already registered, authors can log in and begin the 5 step submission process. During submission, please provide complete metadata and upload the manuscript files requested by the system.

Manuscript Quality Expectations

- The work should have a clear academic purpose and defined readership.
- The structure should be suitable for book publication, with logical chapters or sections.
- Claims, data, quotations, images, and tables should be supported by proper references or permissions.
- The language should be clear, professional, and ready for editorial assessment.
- Any funding information, conflicts of interest, acknowledgements, ethics approvals, or data availability notes should be disclosed where applicable.

Submitted work must be original, properly referenced, ethically prepared, and free from copyright or permissions conflicts. The press may request corrections to metadata, files, references, formatting, or permissions information before a submission can move forward.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published in the same form and is not under active consideration by another publisher.
  • The manuscript is complete, clearly organized, and suitable for academic book publication.
  • The title, subtitle, author names, affiliations, abstract or summary, keywords, and references are accurate and complete.
  • The book has a clear scholarly purpose, defined subject area, and identifiable readership.
  • All chapters or sections are included and arranged in the correct order.
  • All figures, tables, images, datasets, excerpts, and other third-party material include permissions or source acknowledgements where required.
  • The manuscript follows consistent citation, reference, heading, table, figure, and numbering practices.
  • All authors and contributors have approved the submission and understand their responsibility for the accuracy and integrity of the work.
  • Any funding information, conflicts of interest, ethics approvals, acknowledgements, or data availability notes have been disclosed where applicable.
  • The uploaded files are readable, correctly named, and include all required supplementary material for editorial review and production assessment.
  • The corresponding author has provided a reliable email address and will remain available for editorial communication.
